Limited Warranty


Beds By George, Inc. warrants that the bed frame and supports are free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five years, commencing on the date the goods are manufactured and pro-rated over the effective life of the component, except for exclusions listed. The warranty is not transferable. The mattress and any fabric accessory is warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 1 year. Improper assembly, exceeding design parameters, exceeding weight limits, operating product improperly, or misuse of product immediately voids all warranties. Lack of required maintenance and periodic inspection as defined in the owners manual voids all warranties. Wearable parts, such as springs, hinges, latches, etc. will need to be replaced at the end of their effective life and shall not be considered a warranty issue.


Beds By George will replace at no charge, any malfunctioning part (s) that is a result of defective workmanship or material. All other causes are not covered by warranty. You must pay any shipping and labor charges. You must provide valid product serial number (s), proof of ownership and date of initial delivery. You may be required to ship the defective part to Beds by George. If the part is determined by Beds by George to fail the warranty standard, you will be responsible for the costs associated with the replacement part (s).


Replacement parts will be available for 5 years. Due to the nature of the ever changing regulations, materials, design improvements and product availability, replacement parts may not be the same as original.


What Does This Warranty Not Cover? Any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse, or an act of God (such as a flood) are not covered. Any problem that is a result of a behavior and/or action that is in direct conflict with the guidelines set forth in the owners manual is not covered. Also, consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Other exemptions to coverage include but are not limited to any damages resulting from inappropriate use or abuse including but not limited to caregivers or patients who are severely agitated or aggressively violent, damages that are the result of assembly that is not in accordance with written instructions, damages that are a result of improper use of bed or bed components, damages that result from any repair or maintenance work done not in accordance or approved by Beds By George, Inc., damages that result from the use of replacement parts or accessories not provided by Beds By George, Inc., damages that result from modifying or adapting the bed frame, sides, ends, mattress or accessories.


How Do You Get Service? If something goes wrong with your bed, see the section in the owners manual under “Damaged or defective parts or components”. Contact the dealer who provided the bed. If the dealer is no longer in business, contact Beds by George customer service.
Photographs, dealer evaluation, or other helpful data may be required for proper problem diagnosis. We will ship replacement parts to the appropriate location as determined by Beds by George.


How Does State Law Apply? This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
